Jo Wiggan joins Keane this month as Creative Strategy Director in our UK studio, bringing almost two decades of international experience from the lifestyle sector with her. Jo has defined and developed brand and marketing strategies for global brands such as Red Bull, Volvo, Berghaus, Nissan and, most recently, Grenade, where she worked on the creative re-positioning of the brand to appeal to new consumers.
In Jo’s own words, she’s driven by a natural curiosity to understand consumer behaviour and challenge convention, which is a mantra as close to Keane’s mission as you can get. She has delivered successful integrated campaigns, global product launches and impactful digital marketing, and we’re confident will make a huge impact on us and our clients, adding value to our creative development process and offering new strategic and digital services to our overall offer. This includes consumer research & insight, brand strategy, marketing strategy, channel communication planning and digital strategy.
Commercial Director Dave Cressey suggests that: “Jo’s passion for all things brand and for creating marketing that is routed in deep consumer understanding is what attracted us to her and we felt she would be the perfect person to take responsibility for the strategic side of our business”.
Jo has also lectured Creative Marketing and Branding courses at Coventry and Nottingham Trent Universities. In her spare time she enjoys mountaineering, having climbed Mount Khuiten in Mongolia and has recently returned from a trip to the Peruvian Andes.
